HI all,
Here in NM we are using EMOCHA for TB disease patients and TB infection patients both. It is a terrific platform – is definitely an investment – but I think will be very worth
it in saving nursing time and still have the comfort of ensuring that the patients are 1) not having any side effects 2) are ingesting all medications accurately 3)have documentation of the medication doses. Brenda Montoya in ABQ is the TB Nurse Consultant
that is the lead for education and training of the nurses for EMOCHA. If anyone wants to ask specific questions about EMCOHA I know she could answer them for you.
Take care,
Diana

Hello,
1. How is your state administering 3HP? Is it by eDOT, self-administer etc.
2. Is your state using an home grown reporting system or off the shelf? If you are using an off the shelf system, which one and what are the cons to using it?
Thanks in advance,
Amy Hill, RN
