Dear Colleagues:

The Division of Tuberculosis Elimination is seeking pilot testers for the updated 2020 version of the Core Curriculum on Tuberculosis: What the Clinician Should Know. This new version of the Core Curriculum on Tuberculosis: What the Clinician Should Know includes seven chapters, an introduction, and a glossary designed to provide education and the most up-to-date guidelines on tuberculosis through a self-study format.

Pilot testers must meet one or more of the following qualifications:

  • Licensed Physician
  • Licensed Nurse
  • Master of Public Health (MPH) degree
  • Other public health professional

If you are willing to serve as a pilot tester, please respond by email to Beth Bouwkamp at qgh6@cdc.gov by November 30th. Pilot test packets will be sent to pilot testers the first week in December with instructions on how and when the pilot test must be completed. If you have any questions about the process, please contact Beth Bouwkamp for more details.

Pilot testing is part of the continuing education (CE) accreditation process for the Core Curriculum on Tuberculosis: What the Clinician Should Know. Once CE accreditation has been finalized, pilot testers will receive information on how to obtain CE credits for completing the course.

Thank you for your time!

Respectfully,

Beth Bouwkamp
