We use a clear plastic dish. That way the patient can open their DOT packet, dump it into the dish and then hold it up to the camera. It works pretty well, and meds don’t go slip sliding all over the place.

Subject: Video DOT sheet
Hi Everyone,
I was wondering if anyone had a tool that they give to patients to use to better see what they are taking for VDOT. I came across a sheet, I think was from Texas, that had the medication typed on a white sheet and the patient was to place
each med in the circle on the sheet next to the medication name. Any instructions or tools you use would be great. I always like to see what great ideas are out there.
Thanks,
Patty
