Hi Jenna,

Ohio uses $10 gift cards weekly for groceries, some fast food chains, gas stations and bus passes. We utilize an application through the American Lung Association of Ohio to distribute them to local TB units, who then give them to TB patients and contacts.

We use gift cards here in Alaska. Mostly grocery stores or gas cards. Anywhere from $10-(rarely) $50. Safeway is a good one here.

I had a question I wanted to throw out to you all that use gift cards as incentives. Currently in Arkansas we are using cash for our incentive fund (which as you can imagine works quite well), but we are having to transition to gift cards. Has anyone out there used Visa gift cards? If so, is there a particular company you all use? Anyone that would be willing to email me details (like how much you pay for cards, how you issue, etc.)? We have been on a cash system for MANY years, so this would be a total new process for us.
