Currently, we each keep a phone log on an excel spreadsheet in our shared drive of every phone call that comes in. For clinical notes, we add them to the client’s “medical record” in our Wisconsin Electronic Disease Surveillance System
(WEDSS). In addition, we keep case notes on Word documents in our shared drive for easy retrieval and viewing. It seems like a lot of documenting which is why I’m looking for ways to streamline. Also, I’m looking for a way for us to keep track of the people
who are reported to us and are being evaluated for TB. When one of us gets the call, how do we share and add to the data being collected without creating a paper trail.
