A Nurse Consultant position is under recruitment, through August 8, at the Vermont Department of Health. While having general infectious diseases responsibilities in addition to TB, this position will also coordinate TB Cohort Review and TB Program Evaluation activities.

 

The Vermont Department of Health Infectious Disease – Epidemiology program is currently hiring for a Nurse Program Coordinator (Job Opening #623615). This is a dynamic opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced nurse who wants to contribute, in a key leadership role, to statewide infectious disease prevention activities. Responsibilities include investigating and providing consultation on infectious diseases and disease outbreaks; developing and implementing protocols, trainings and education materials; providing specialty information for health professionals and other stakeholders; and assisting in the analysis and reporting of program data, including program evaluation. This position may be expected to provide occasional on-call/standby consultation as part of the program’s Duty Officer system.
