Hello All,
I was just wondering if anyone knows how I can get courses with CMEs without necessarily paying to attend? Any idea will be very helpful.
Thanks,

All,
I am interested to see if any other states use video DOT through a vendor such as Emocha or SureAdhere? If so, does anyone have a sample of their Request for Proposal (RFP) or their scope of work? I am interested to make sure that
we are considering all requirements in moving forward for a bid process. I can be reached on my cell at 803-722-0179 or can be emailed directly at
paintear@dhec.sc.gov. Thanks in advance!

Cordelia,
CDC and the TB Centers of Excellence have several online courses free, plus the COE webinars are free. As a member of NTCA you don't pay for their webinars either. I've also seen some online courses advertised with
free CE's, but I can't speak as to their quality.
Wisconsin does not require nursing CEUs, so I hope others from states that do will respond.

Request for companion document writers: healthcare personnel by

Dear Colleagues,
The long-awaited update to guidelines for healthcare personnel screening, testing, and treatment are almost complete. However, due to MMWR restrictions, the update can only be 1600 words long.
The workgroup felt quite strongly that concrete examples are needed of how to implement the updated guidelines in the variety of settings where healthcare personnel work. Thus the decision to form another workgroup to create a companion
document.
This is a request for those with expertise and interest in this topic to participate. The workgroup is headed by Wendy Thanassi, in occupational health at the VA. The hope is to have a mix of public health, infection control, and
occupational health people in this workgroup, as we will all need to work together to implement the guidelines. We hope to make this a short and intense workgroup, with publication hoped for in December 2018.
If you would like to participate, please send:
Your name your email your telephone number
to Lorna Will at
lwill@tbcontrollers.org.
Wendy will contact you with more information and a copy of the updated guidelines. Please note: as the guidelines have not yet completed CDC clearance and are not published, they MAY NOT be shared by participants in this workgroup
with anyone outside the workgroup. Thank you for observing this rule for working on draft guidelines.
Thank you for your interest! We look forward to a companion document full of practical examples and guidance.
Lorna
