Hi Amy,
No our DOT providers/nurses don’t carry an emergency kit when providing PO meds. We do carry an emergency kit (injectable Benadryl and Epinephrine) when giving
injectable.

All,
I am interested to know if your agency policies require the nurses to carry epinephrine while performing DOT of po meds (ie - INH, Rif, EMB, PZA) in the home? Are your nurses carrying epi when giving injectables?
