Hello TB Nurse extraordinaires!
I got a call from a nurse asking for a resource that points out where are “alternate sites” that could be used for TST placement. I remember being told that the upper scapula could be used for patient’s without arms, but I am at a loss
to find it. Does anyone have a resource they could share with me?
I have looked at TST manufacturer package insert, CDC Mantoux Manual, and NHANES TST procedure manual.
Thank you for sharing your wisdom!
